Mechanical installation expertise of Dixon Group called upon as work starts on new two care home developments
Dixon Group has been chosen as the mechanical specialist to complete full plumbing, heating and ventilation installations on two new care home developments for an award-winning East Yorkshire provider.
It will see our Dixon Integrated Services division, which specialises in mechanical and electrical design and installation for commercial developments, work directly for Hull-based building specialists Hobson & Porter.
Our teams have already started on site at the first of the two new Yorkare care homes in Louth, Lincolnshire.
The 72 bedroom facility will provide both residential and dementia care, with all bedrooms including ensuite wet rooms.
Our teams will complete all mechanical works throughout the building, including a building management system, plumbing, heating (including underfloor heating), ventilation, air conditioning and gas installation and plantroom works.
It is the third Yorkare home worked on by Dixon Group, having previously completed similar works on developments in Hessle and Hornsea.
The Louth facility is expected to be open later in the year, and once our work is completed on this site our teams will again work for Hobson & Porter on a similar a 66 bedroom Yorkare facility near the centre of Cottingham, East Yorkshire, which is due to open early next year.
