Job Description
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
The Role
To install all aspects of electrical work in domestic, commercial, industrial and modular buildings, mainly throughout Hull and Yorkshire, however, some out of town work will be required.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues to determine the cause of faults and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Out of town working required.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
